Quick answer: Debt review restructures your credit agreements into one payment you can afford, and the plan is made a court order. If you live anywhere in KwaZulu-Natal you can start with a free assessment by phone or WhatsApp, and we handle the whole application for you.
When vehicle finance, personal loans, store accounts and credit cards all fall due in the same week, it is easy to fall behind on one to pay another. Debt review stops that cycle: we negotiate lower instalments and interest with each credit provider, and you pay one amount a month through an NCR-registered payment distribution agency.
Your plan is made an order of the magistrate’s court where you live, so the process works the same in Durban, Pietermaritzburg or a small town.
Rates, water and electricity accounts with eThekwini, Msunduzi or your local municipality are not credit agreements, so they cannot be included in debt review. We budget for them as essential expenses so your plan stays affordable.
See all provinces we serve or our Gauteng areas.
Timing matters: if a credit provider has already sent you a Section 129 notice on an account, that account can no longer be included in debt review. Contact us as soon as you start falling behind, not when the summons arrives.
| Your first assessment | Free, no obligation |
| Application fee | R50, once-off |
| Restructuring fee | Your first restructured instalment, capped at R8,000 (R9,000 for a joint application by spouses married in community of property) |
| Aftercare fee | 5% of your monthly instalment, capped at R450 a month |
Fees are set by the National Credit Regulator and exclude VAT. Payment distribution agency fees and any legal costs are separate, and we explain every amount in writing before you sign anything.
Yes. The National Credit Act, the debt review process and the NCR fee caps are the same in every province, and our registration covers the whole country. Your application is lodged electronically, your plan is made an order of your local magistrate’s court, and everything else is handled by phone, WhatsApp and email.
The magistrate’s court for the area where you live, or the National Consumer Tribunal. We prepare and handle the application from our office, and in most cases you do not need to attend.
For vehicle finance included in your debt review, the credit provider may not start new legal action while you keep to your plan, provided you apply before they send you a Section 129 notice on that account. Contact us early.
By WhatsApp or email. A clear photo or PDF of your ID, payslips, bank statements and account statements is enough to get started.
Debt review is never published and we do not contact your employer. A debt review flag does appear on your credit report, so anyone who runs a credit check with your consent will see it until you are cleared.
Send us a WhatsApp or book a free assessment online. We will call you back and explain your options, with no obligation.
